Show Lions Club Members Informed Of Airport Activities The present status and future operations of the Cedar City Municipal Airport, was the subject sub-ject of discussion at the meeting of the Cedar City Lions Club, one of the sponsors of the origin- ,al airport project at the meeting of the club Monday. Norman McGill, one of the new operators of the Airport, Robert White and Robert Bradshaw, outlined out-lined the airport development plans, Including the opening soon of the cafe under the name of Sky Line Cafe. The new operator opera-tor announced that ambulance 'service, special charter flights, and other such services will .be made available at the airport. I Wallace Osborne, chairman of I the Lions Calendar Committee, announced that the annual calendar cal-endar campaign will be conducted conduct-ed during September. i A special guest at the meeting was Arthur Fife, former Cedar City resident, now of Albuquer que, New Mexico. Dee Cowan, club president, announced an-nounced that A. H. Griffin, Project Pro-ject Engineer for Merritt, Chapman Chap-man and Scott, prime contractors on the Glen Canyon Dam project, would be the guest speaker at the meeting of the club Aug. 29. |
