Show Funeral Services Mark Passing Of Kanarra Resident Charles Parker, 76, native of Kanarra ville who has resided In Cedar City for the past 13 years, died at his home Thursday, Aug. 18. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Kanarra Ward Chape Monday and burial was In the Kanarraville cemetey. Mr. Parker was born in Kanarraville Kan-arraville on March 21, 188-1, a son of Charles and Elizabeth Davis Parker. On Dec. 25, 1907. he married mar-ried Emlah Venlta Evans, who survives him. Besides his widow he Is survived surviv-ed by three sons and a daughter, Milford E., San Francisco; La-mond La-mond E., Cedar City; Leo Ray, San Mateo, Calif., and Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Cosslett, Cedar City, and the following brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Mrs. Zianette Pollock, Salt Lake City; Mrs. James (Ester) Robb, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Laura Wood, Bell Garden, Calif.; Mrs. Noel (Lena) Williams, Kanarraville; Kanarra-ville; Mrs. Sophia Stapley, Orem; Dee, Vista. Calif.; Cecil, Kanarraville; Kanar-raville; Bruce, Pangultch. Also surviving are eight grandchildren grandchild-ren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed by Bishop J. F. Williams Benediction was by Lynn Reeves, and the dedicatory prayer by Bruce Parker. The musical program Included a song by a quartet composed of Ray Cosslett, William Condie, Mamie Eck, and Lois McConnell; vocal solos by Ray Cosiett and Cllve Hartman, and the closing number by the Kanarraville Singing Mothers. |
