LESTER LAMARR WATERS Mary Bryant Exchanges August Temple Vows Miss Mary Bryant of Cedar City -became the bride of Lester La-I&arr La-I&arr Waters of Provo in rites performed on Thursday; Aug. 18, im the Salt Lake Temple. "The bride is the daughter of "Mr. and Mrs. Dell V. Bryant of Cedar City and the bridegroom a a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard IMark Waters of Provo. The newlyweds were honored that same evening ai an Open House held at Provo and hosted fcy the parents of the bridegroom. Saturday evening, Aug. 20, in Cedar City parents of the bride were hosts at a reception at the home of the bride's parents. Greeting guests the new Mrs. .Waters wore a gown of alecln ilace over bridal satin. It featured a fitted bodice with a nylon organza or-ganza ovcrskirt with a front lace panel. I Her veil of fingertip length was caught to a cap of nylon leaves 'and clusters of pearls. Her bridal Jbc'iuet was of pink rose buds surounded by white carnations and tied with a pink ribbon. Attending her sister as maid of honor was Miss Veola Bryant with Miss Dorothy Waters, Mrs. Arlynn Hansen, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Reba Ann Webster Web-ster and Miss Dianne Beatty also attending. Attendants' dresses were light blue brocaded taffeta sheaths. They wore corsages of pink glamlllas. Standing as best man was Doyle Waters, a brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Fernlee and Nelson Bryant. Hostesses for the reception were Miss Mary Short and Mrs. Arwin Stratton. At the guest book was Miss Virginia Bryant. Serving Serv-ing were Miss Hoslyn Leigh, Miss Fonette Osborne, Miss Joan Duncan, Dun-can, Mrs. David Blackner, Miss Zola Bryant and Miss Connie Bryant Assisting In Die gift room were Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Bryant and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jones. In the kitchen were Mrs. Rudget Beatty, Mrs. Warren Munford, Mrs. Forrest Bryant, Mrs. E1JH Bryant, Mrs. John Jackson and Miss Claudia Bryant Beautiful wedding cake was made by Mrs. Keith Benson of Salt Lake City. The bride Is a graduate of Cedar Ce-dar City High School and attend-ed attend-ed College of Southern Utah. At the time of her marriage she was working at Deseret Clothing Industries In-dustries In Salt Lake City. Mr. Waters Is a graduate of Provo High School and has served a tour of duty with the U. S. Air Force. . The newlyweds will make their home In Salt Lake City follow ln a honeymoon In the Southern Utah Parks. |
