Show Dalleys Greeted by Friends at Open House I Taking the social spotlight on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Parley Par-ley Dalley as they were honored on their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Anni-versary. Friends and relatives from near and far greeted the prominent , couple at the Library Lounge on the CSV campus between the hours of three and six and eight and ten. A tiered wedding cake in gold and white centered the serving table. Dainty lace hearts bore the names of Mabel and Parley, while smaller hearts the names of the children and grandchildren grandchild-ren were inscribed. Yellow roses crowned the cake and trailed over the edge. A gold net cloth ovei satin and trimmed in gold lace completed the setting. Entertaining during the open house hours were Bessie Dover, Gladys Isom, Nalda Gardner, lone Lambert, Shirley Dahl, Elaine Southwick, Cynthia Williams, Blaine Johnson, Bert Carpenter, Howard and Orma Wood and a string ensemble composed of Roy L. Halversen, Richard Webster, Robert Bradshaw, Carol Ann Jones, Chad Halversen and Dale Parry, accompanied by JEvelyn Jones. In wurge of refreshments and serving ve Ada Carpenter and Wanda Cox, who decorated the lovely cake. Friends of the honored couple poured and assisted with serving while a group of younger girls greeted the guests with the tasty rvti eshments. Making the occasion complete wa& the presence of the Dalley's three, children, Mary Demming and daughter Marie of Lakeview, Oregon; Louise Lence, Salt Lake City, and Parley James Dalley, wife Dianna and daughters Maro and Sona of Cambridge, Mass. |
