Show Law Enforcement Will Aid Traffic Safety At the emergency traffic safety safe-ty meeting held Friday, May 21, Governor Calvin L. Rampton stressed that traffic law enforcement enforce-ment on city and county levels is the key to the reduction of automobile auto-mobile deaths. Speaking to mayors, city coun-cilmen coun-cilmen and county commissioners commission-ers from throughout Utah, the chief executive characterized the present trend as "murder on our streets." He also stated that traf-fice traf-fice law enforcement must concentrate con-centrate on discipline and education edu-cation of Utah drivers rather than tourists and visitors for, as the Governor stated, "It is our people, our friends, neighbors and children who are being killed." kill-ed."
