Show Wei Ak Avis Hold i Final Season Meet ! The last meeting of the Wei Ak Avies with the 1904-65 club officers offi-cers was held Thursday, May 20, at the "Home Spun" in Leeds. The event was in the form of a brunch. Mrs. E. W. Southwick, retiring president, conducted. Af- i ter greetings and singing, new officers were installed. Mrs. Southwck turned the gavel over to Mrs. Florence Cardon who will lead the group for the year. Mrs. Ada Thorley, out -going vice president, pre-sident, installed Mrs. Wilford Webster and Mrs. Evelyn P. Webster, Web-ster, keeper of the records, turned turn-ed her official duties over to Mrs. William Jones. The new officers were presented with corsages. As favors for each club member, mem-ber, Mrs. Ada Thorley had made miniature wicker baskets adorned adorn-ed with satin roses and filled with home made candy. A special guest Joining with Wei Ak Avies members was Mrs. William Snow of St. George. |
