Show Funeral Services Accorded James LeRoy Hyatt Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed for James LeRoy Hyatt, 80, Parowan on Thursday, May 20 In the Parowan Second Ward Chapel. Cha-pel. Mr. Hyatt, retired businessman business-man and farmer, died late Sunday Sun-day of natural causes at the Valley View Medical Center. The services were conducted by Bishop Rupert S. Hulet with Mrs. Ola Robinson at the organ for prelude and postlude music. Speakers were Howard Joseph and W. Clair Rowley, with brief remarks by Bishop Hulet. The Invocation was by Chester Hyatt, the benediction by Ivan Orton, and the grave In the Parowan City cemetery was dedicated by Charles F. Bentley. The prayer at the family home was offered by Delos Dalton. The musical program Included ed the opening and closing songs, "Oh, My Father", and "Lead Me Gently Home," respectively, by a double mixed quartet; a vocal duet "In the Garden", by Marian Hyatt and Helen Whitney, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Chamberlain, and an organ medley by Ola Robinson. Robin-son. Members of the mixed quartet quar-tet were Mr. and Mrs. Rulan Dalton, Dal-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mitchell, Harold Mitchell, Ola Robinson, Shirley Mercer and Kent Mars-den, Mars-den, and they were accompanied by Mary Lyman. Pallbearers were sons and sons-in-law of Mr. Hyatt, Jim, Gerald and Michael Hyatt, Ward Cott-rell, Cott-rell, Dell Bennett and Bob Snider. Flowers were carried by grandchildren grand-children and great-grandchildren. |
