Show Jerry E. Boyns Will Receive Electrical Engineering Degree Jerry E. Boyns, son of Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Wilson of Cedar City, will receive his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University at commencement exercises June 5. He graduated from Cedar High School in 1956, served a four year term with the U. S. Navy with a rating of Electronics Technician First Class. He attended Herald Engineering College at San Fran-cisco Fran-cisco for one year, returning to Cedar City In 11, where he enrolled en-rolled at the College of Southern Utah, and received his Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. The past two years he has been a student at USU, carrying a scholastic average of 3.5, entitling him to membership I In the Sigma Tau Honorary Fraternity. Fra-ternity. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Beglnlng June 15, Mr. Boyns will assume the position of electrical elec-trical engineer and junior scientist scien-tist for the U. S. Navy In their Research Laboratory at San Diego, Die-go, Calif., where he will have the opportunity to work on his Master of Science Degree. |
