Parowan Lions Club Celebrates Third Anniversary a Members of the Parovvan Lions Club met at the Old Mill on Saturday Sat-urday night to celebrate their third anniversary as a club. This was also Ladies' Night and the wives of the club members were present to enjoy the evening. Two new members were initiated init-iated into the club, LaMar Jensen Jen-sen and William Burns.' Jensen was sponsored by Glen Halter-man Halter-man and Burns by Robert.' Miller. A special feature of trie evening eve-ning was the presentation of lOO'o awards to 17 members who have attended all club meetings and activities for the past year. The awards were made to Ramon Bentley, Earl Bunn, Ted Burton, Fred Dalton, Leo Hall, Glen Hal-terman, Hal-terman, Don Lowder, Scott Mitchell, Mitch-ell, Ronald Mortensen, Wimmer Mortensen, Osmer Nielsen, Howard How-ard Rasmussen Alan Stonnes, David Wilkerson, Howard Walker, Walk-er, Gayle Wood and Glade Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Worthn gave two musical numbers and then those present listened to Mrs. Berta Winter play the piano and Joined with her in singing songs from the club's minstrel shows.
