Show Late Storms Delay Approach to Fishing Waters Storms during the early part of the week may result in a limitation limi-tation of accessable waters for the opening of the General Fishing Fish-ing season in this area Saturday, May 29, Larry Eyre, Conservation Officers indicated. Information as to accessibility of some water will be available at the Regional Office of the Fish and Game for planning to go afield for the opening week end. Continued storms are expected I to make waters unavailable for the opening and fishermen are encouraged to stick to the lower elevation waters and more acces-ible acces-ible areas, should the storms continue into the week end. Some of the more accessible waters include Enterprise Reservoirs, Reser-voirs, New Castle Reservoir, Duck Creek Springs and Aspen Mirror Lake, in the immediate area. The general sessions opens Saturday Sat-urday and continues through November No-vember 30. Fishing hours are from 4 a. m. to 9 p. m. Some of the major angling rules were listed by the Department Depart-ment of Fish and Game, with the reminder that officers will be patrolling pa-trolling all waters to assist anglers an-glers and to apprehend violators of rules governing this sport. All residents 12 years of age or older must possess and display dis-play visibly on an outer garment a proper license whenever angling. angl-ing. No one may use another person's license. Angling is defined as fishing with a single line attached to a rod, pole or troll board held in the hands of, or attended by the person angling, and having attached at-tached thereto any legal baits or lures. Angling is permitted with any bait except game fish or parts thereof and live fish. The eggs of all fish species are permitted for bait. Angling is permitted with any mechanical lure, except no lure shall have more than three gangs of hooks, and no line shall have attached thereto more than two baited hooks or artificial flies. Multiple prongs attached to a single shaft is defined as one hook. Attended means that an angler must be within 10 feet of the equipment being used at all times. Bag and possesion limits for trout is 10 fish or seven pounds and one lish (except Bear Lake aim Lake Fuwcii, ; whichever is caught lirst. Resident children I under 12 years of age may take j only four fish or three pounds ' and one fish, whichever is caught j first. Non-resident children under un-der 12 must fish with a licensed angler and the fish they catch must not be counted in the limit of the licenced angler. Weight limits of fish will be computed with the fish dressed and the heads and tails Intact. There is no size limit on any fish species that may be taken.
