Show Farewell Testimonial Slated for Departing Missionary 1 RONALD SCOTT SHERMAN A farewell testimonial will be held Sunday, May 30, for Ronald Scott Sherman, who has been called from the Cedar Third Ward to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. j Friend and relatives are invited in-vited to attend the testimonial which will be held at the Third Ward Chapel at 2 p. rn. Sherman, the son of Mrs. Tem-ma Tem-ma Sherman and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Christensen, nas been called to serve in the North Central States Mission with headquarters 1 n Minneapolis, Minn. The Missionary Is a graduate of the Cedar City Hiah School and has attended College of Southern Utah where he was majoring ma-joring in Art. In high school his extra curricular activities were centered around art projects and events. He will enter the mission home in Sail Lalve City on June 14 for a week of special instruction and activity before leaving for his field of labor. Speakers at the testimonial will include Bovd Beaulev and John Sanders with remarks by Mr. and Mrs. Christensen and by Bp. Dan Crawford, in addition to a response by Sherman. A special musical number will be presented by a girls' trio composed com-posed of Lynette Sherman Linda Anderson and Aiayne Peterson, accompanied by Cheryl Brown. They will sing "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You." Invocation will be by David L. Sargent with the benediction by Galen H. Christensen. |
