Show I PARAGONAH NEWS NOTES i ' Mrs. Hllma Lamoraaux 1 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Board-man Board-man became first time parents I Saturday evening when their j baby boy arrived at the Iron County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton made a week end trip to Salt Lake City after receiving word of the arrival ar-rival of a new grandson. The child was born on Friday to Willis Wil-lis and Annette Inglesby. This makes two little boys for the young couple and great grandchild grand-child number seven for Mrs. Lula Bastian. Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Clark and their young son were Sunday visitors vi-sitors here with Rayma's folks, the Earl Thornton family. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson and their daughter, Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux traveled to Richfield Sunday to spend the day visiting with the Clinton Robinson family. fa-mily. Miss Lana Jean Topham has been quite ill following surgery for the removal of her tonsils. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Robb of Cedar Ce-dar City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb. Mrs. Hannah Robinson has received re-ceived word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Annie Hall of St. George at the Truman Rest Home. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed in St George Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Stubbs and small daughters of Cedar City visited with relatives here during the week end. Young Ladles M. I. A. president, presi-dent, Mrs. Idella Robinson presented pre-sented individual awards to several sev-eral girls In Sacrament meeting Sunday. Those who received certificates cer-tificates were Gayle Lund, Carolyn Caro-lyn Barton, Clara Mae Allison, Pauline Topham, Rebecca Robb and Edith Barton. Mrs. Lula Bastian, Mrs. Sarah Stones, Mrs. Llla Stones and Miss Helen Stones traveled to Beaver Sunday to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards had v'.Kitors at their home recently. re-cently. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Wells c! Sacramento, Calif., spent a week here. They did some redecorating re-decorating at the Edwards home while they were here. Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones attended the Lions club Banquet Ban-quet and Dance at Beryl Saturday Satur-day evening and reported a very enjoyable time. - The Relief Society will hold its annual Christmas Party on Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, Dec. 18, beginning at 1:30 o'clock. A special program pro-gram is being planned, there will be refreshments and gifts will be exchanged. All ladies of the community are invited to be present. The Wayne Mosdell family of Cedar City spent Sunday after-non after-non and evening with the Joseph Jo-seph E. Bartons. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton spent several days in Salt Lake City last week. They were there from Sunday to Wednesday. They visited with Don's sister, Mrs. Rhina Cameron with Edith's relatives re-latives in Bountiful and Don kept an appointment with doctors doc-tors at the Fort Douglas Veterans Hospital.
