Show BPW Club Members' Enjoy Christmas Program Christmas came early for sixty-five members and guests of the Cedar City Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women's Club. Husbands Hus-bands and partners were guests at a dinner at Sullivan's Cafe. A gaily decorated and lighted Christmas tree and holiday pieces piec-es added color and charm. President Presi-dent Freida Withrow presided. Mrs. Leatha Prestwich and her committee composed of Mrs. Sandra San-dra Leiikfield and Mrs. Kate Stevenson had charge of the program. pro-gram. A trio of Cedar High School students, Misses Suzanne Sargent, l'nyilis Crabtree and Janet Leonard accompanied hv Miss Joan Duncan, sang two beautiful numbers. Mrs. Prestwich introduced Mrs. Elaine Southwick, A. W. Stephenson Stephen-son and Reed Berrett, who collaborated col-laborated on a beautitui program of poetry, music, colored photography photo-graphy entitled "Butterfly Day." i he views were of our own colorful color-ful locality, spring, summer, fall, winter, sunrise, sunset, storm clouds, lakes, forests, gardens, gar-dens, with poetry and music set to the mood of each slide. It left the members with a feeling of "Peace, all's right with the world." |
