Show Self-Help Medical Program Being Taught at CSU The first in a series of medical self-help meetings sponsored by the Cedar City Defense Committee Commit-tee was held at College of Southern South-ern Utah Sunday, Dec. 9, under the direction of Dr. Melvin Cony, Cedar City physician. The course is designed to teach the fundamentals of medical procedures pro-cedures which might have to be employed by those not in the medical profession during times of emergency, according to Dr. Wesley P. Larsen, chairman of the Coordinating Council Health and Sanitation Committee, which is cooperating with the civil defense de-fense group in organizing the program.
