Show I Poultry Producer Loses 45,000 Chickens Residents of this area have no doubt read about the tremendous heat wave that hit southern California Cal-ifornia and stayed during the early part of the month, but most people do not know that because of the heat, above 110 degrees, George Armstrong a former resident, res-ident, suffered a Joss of 45,000 chickens and an economic loss of over $100,000.
