Show HERE AND THERE Mr. and Mrs. Grant Tucker and daughters Clarisse and Tanya returned re-turned Wednesday from a most enjoyable trip and visit in San Diego, CaJif. for a week. While there they stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wilson and family. Mr. Wilson was a missionary companion of Grant. The annual Dewey Avenue neighborhood party was held Friday night on the lawns of the Scott Urie home. Twenty people were present to enjoy the barbecue bar-becue and visit with their neighbors. neigh-bors. The committee this year was as follows; Mrs. Urie, Utahna Jones, Anne Leavitt, and LaRue Tucker. Mrs. Forrest Anderson was host to members of the Lohoabey club at her home Friday night. The ladies were entertained by Mrs. LuJean Jepson who talked of the two years she had spent in Manila, and showed her many lovely souvenirs. Special guests were Genevieve Macfarjane, Clara Cla-ra Knell, and Zella Byers. Light refreshments were served at the close of the program, and the door prize went to Alice Milne. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hansink entertained the members of their Pinochle Club at their home on Monday evening. Following the cards, a plate luncheon was served ser-ved and prizes' awarded Mrs. Ivan Orton and Frank Milne. 1 Family guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. F. Petty, who ar.? in town specificajly for the wedding of Patty Petty, are Dr. and Mrs. Reed C. Petty of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Acil Petty and three daughters of Salt Lake City, Mrs. j Howard (Beatrice) Shaw, and Cindy of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Scott (Leora) George and children child-ren Gary, Gordon, Karen and Robert, Ro-bert, of Van Nuys. This has been a very enjoyable occasion for the Pettys ... all being together for the first time In some time. |
