Show Recite September Nuptial Vows Friday, Sept. 8, was the date chosen by Miss Ruthell Lamor-eaux Lamor-eaux for her wedding to Donald Mitchell Haycock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Benson Haycock of Parowan. Ruth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lamor-eaux. Lamor-eaux. The young couple were married marri-ed in the St. George Temple by President Harold Snow. They were accompanied by the mother! of the bride, the mother of the groom and the groom's grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Mitchejl of Parowan. The wedding party returned to Cedar City where a wedding breakfast was held at Sullivans Cafe at which members of the immediate families honored the newlyweds. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mitchell Haycock Hay-cock prepare to cut beautiful cake at a reception in their honor Thursday evening, Sept. 8 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lamoreaux. Haycock is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Benson Haycock of Parowan. The lovely bride is the former Ruthell Lamoreaux. to offer their congratulations. The bride was lovely in a floor length gown fashioned with a bodice of Chantilly .lace, and a full skirt of many rows of ruffled net. The bride's illusion veil fell from a tiny crown beaded with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white orchids surrounded by red rose buds. Maid of hoVior was her sister, Elaine Lamoreaux, who wore a ballerina length modcj of rayon acetate in salmon pink. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Alice Messer, Marilyn Bladen, and Shirlene Slack who were dressed alike in light green taffeta. All attendants carried bouquets complementing their dresses. Mother of the groom wore beige; mother of the bride wore h'ue, and both wore corsages cor-sages of red roses. Best man for his brother was Scott Haycock. Served as Hostess Hostess for the evening and In charge of the guest book was lla Lambert, the bride's sister, and receiving gifts at the door were two tiny misses. Helen Hay. cock, and another little girl, a cousin of the groom. In the gift room were Mrs. Donald Don-ald Lamoreaux, and Mrs. Max Hamilton. In the kitchen were Ada Arns, Jennifer Melling, Jane Theobald, and Lila Lawrence. Serving were LaRue Bladen, Susan Bulloch, and Norma Sta-pley. Sta-pley. Christine Corry was at the piano pi-ano with background music during dur-ing the evening. The beautiful wedding cake was baked by Mrs. J. H. Messer, and decorated by Mrs. Reid Cox. It was the centerpiece cen-terpiece of the serving table which was in tune with the color scheme of pink and green. A salmon sal-mon pink cloth covered the table, and green candleabra were at each end. The newlyweds are now honeymooning hon-eymooning at Grand Canyon and at Las' Vegas, and will make their home in Cedar City where Donald will attend school at C. S. U. this year. Ruthell is a graduate grad-uate of Cedar High and of CSU where she was a member of Phi .'pha Beta. Donald graduated from Parowan High, and had at-tended at-tended CSU. He Is talented in the I field of music. |
