Show Civic Groups Support Sales of CSU Season Tickets Through the cooperation of Cedar Ce-dar City community groups and the College of Southern Utah, season tickets for all home games are being sold. A. W. Stephenson, chairman of the Athletic council, said that civic and business groups are Cooperating Co-operating with great effort to aid in the successfuj sale to promote a successful season. Home games begin on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 8 p. m. with a powerful Phoenix College team. The next then comes with Dixie, . Oct. 1. The homecoming schedule pits WebJr against the Broncos of Cedar City Oct. 15, and the final game is with Westminster on Oct. 29. Coach Bruce Osborne has announced an-nounced that the outlook for this year indicates a successful season sea-son with twelve returning letter-men letter-men working to retain their regular reg-ular positions. "Cooperating very closely with us are the Kiwanis, Lions, and Rotary clubs, and members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Cowley, BuUoch, and Cedar Drugs are working to help in selling tickets," Stevenson said. The first two games, Phoenix and Dixie, are played at 8 p. m. under the lights, and the other two are played at 2 p. m. Tickets may be purchased from members of these groups or from the drug stores in Cedar City for $3.50. |
