Show ilnna LaRue Smith Becomes Bride Of Gerry H. Turner Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith announced an-nounced this week the marriage of their daughter, Anna LaRue Smith to Gerry H. Turner of Del- The marriage was solemnized in the St. George temple Saturday, Sept. 10 with president HaroJd S. Snow officiating. The bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. OrvaJ Turner of Delta. A reception was held Saturday evening at the Enoch Ward chapel to honor the newlyweds. Attending the lovely bride, who chose a gown of lace and tulle over satin, were Miss Aurella Jones, Miss Paula Turner, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Grace Marie Smith, sister of the bride. Best man for the occasion was Ken Boothe. The bride's gown was of long sleeves, tapering to lily points over the wrists and a mandarin cojlar enhanced the bodice. A veil was of fingerttip length. Attendants to the bride carried nosegayS of daisies and chrysanthemums chrys-anthemums and the bride carried a bouquet of roses. Both bride and groom are graduates grad-uates of the College of Southern Utah. The new Mrs. Turner nas also attended Brlgham Young University. Mr. Turner at the present time is studying at the University of Utah where he plans to continue this fall. The couple left for a honeymoon honey-moon trip into Canada following the recption Saturday night. The bride's parents, residents of Enoch until past year or so, are now making their home in Bountiful. |
