Show Wed In St. George Temple Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson of Kanarraville, former Cedar residents, res-idents, are happy to announce the wedding of their daughter Margaret, to Mr. Sherman Kitchen 1 of Orem, Utah, on Sept. 9, in the St. George Temple. Accompanying them through the beautiful temple were the parents of both, Leah Jean Board- man, Leon Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kitchen, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Rowley, Helen Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rowley, and Norman Rowley. - A reception the same night was held in the Kanarraville ward with Mr. and Mrs. Robinson as hos. Friends and relatives called call-ed at the Third Ward Saturday evening to honor Mr. and Mrs. Ehvyn Decker Rowley. She is the former Carol Mil-lett, Mil-lett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zealot Millett of Cedar City. satin underskirt that flattered a J j chantilly lace model fashioned! with a fuU skirt. The gown was! floor length, with long sleeves! pointed at the wrist, and a sweetheart sweet-heart neckline embroidered in pearls. Her veil was of brides illusion il-lusion cascading from a bride's crown to fingertip length. She carried a beautiful bouquet of pink rosebuds and white carnations. carna-tions. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Helen Brooks, who dressed in pale blue. Bridesmaids were PhyUis Piatt. Coleen Hunter, Ca!-da Ca!-da Davis, and Norma Reeves. All wore pastel gowns, full length, and carried bouquets that matched match-ed that of the bride. Tiny flower girls were Jan re Rich and Kathy Judd who were dressed alike in sheer pink nylon. The dresses were made by the bride. They carried bouquets of asters. Best man was a close friend of the groom from Orem; ushers were James Robinson, Norma n Rowley, Dan Robinson, and Johnny John-ny Bentley. In the gift room was Leah Jean Boardman. In charge of the refreshments re-freshments wa-s Mrs. Belle Davis, and cjose friends of the bride served. Margaret's tiny nephews and nieces received the gifts at the door. The lovely wedding cake' was made by the bride's mother,1 and decorated by Mrs. James Sherratt. Following the greeting of their guests, the bride and groom led a wedding march that was accompanied ac-companied on the piano by Boyd Reeves. Dancing followed, and music for the occasion was furnished fur-nished by Boyd Reeves' and Eugene Eu-gene Hellend. A lovely program was presented present-ed by Tom Pierce of New Haim-ony, Haim-ony, a song by Richard Williams and Stephen Davis. Dr. A. F. Rich of Cedar City was master of ceremonies. cer-emonies. Many friends from Milford, New Harmony, and Cedar City called during the evening. Margaret was born and reared in Caliente, Nev. until moving to Cedar City several years ago, and then to New Harmony. ' The young couple are honeymooning honey-mooning in the Southern UtaJk Parks, and will then be home la Orem. |
