Show A E C Prepares Film Records oi Nevada Proving Grounds Test The Atomic Energy Commission Commis-sion is presently engaged in preparatory pre-paratory work on a documentary film record concerning the atomic atom-ic test operations at thp Nevada Neva-da proving grounds, and will si end some time in southern Utah during the next week working work-ing on the film. The tentative plan is for several sev-eral sequences following the May 19 test, including highway vehicle vehi-cle monitoring, and also including includ-ing efforts to keep St. George residents res-idents indoors for a two-hour period per-iod that morning while the atomic atom-ic cloud passed over the region. Walter Hardy of the U S A F Lookout Mountain laboratory at Hollywood will arrive in St. George tonight to explore script possibilities. He will be joined Monday, Aug. 24, by a camera crew. Lookout Mountain laboratory is an air - photographic facility which performed technical and other photography of the Nevada Neva-da atomic tests. It produced for tiie air force last year a motion picture "Target Nevada," which shows air force support of previous pre-vious Nevada tests. I |
