Show j Wranglers Prepare I Two Day Racing, Rodeo Card The Red Hill Wranglers, local horsemen's association, is sponsoring spon-soring two days of racing and rodeo in connection with the Iron County Fair to be held in Parowan Paro-wan on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 4 and 5. The only thing is that the racing and rodeo will be held on Saturday and Monday afternoon, Sept. 5 and 7, the latter lat-ter being Labor Day and a national na-tional holiday. It is planned to hold a full racing program each of the two days and in connection there will be rodeo events such as bronco and bull riding, calf roping, etc. This is on an amateur basis, or non-professional, with any one who wants to try the rides eligible eligi-ble to enter. In addition the Wranglers will stage a parade, with horsemen's drills and games before the racing rac-ing programs which are set for 2:30 each day. In the meantime plans are being be-ing rushed for the annual Iron County Fair with, all residents of the county invited and urged to enter exhibits in all divisions of the exhibition. One of the highlights of the I Fair will be the 4-H club Dress Review and Demonstration to be held on the opening day of the fair in the high school gymnasium. gymnas-ium. At that time all 4-H clubs of the county will take part in showing what they have accomplished accom-plished during the summer. The F F A and 4-H clubs indulging in-dulging in livestock projects will hold judging contests and demonstrations dem-onstrations at the livestock show barn during the fair. |
