Show Square Dancers Set "Sagebrush Soiree" For Livestock Show The climax of a gay summer season for square dancers of southern Utah and surrounding territory will be reached on Saturday, Sat-urday, Sept. 12, the closing day of the 13th annual Southern Utah Livestock Show. Square dance clubs of Cedar City are combining their efforts! to stage the big "Sagebrush Soiree" to be held in' the College of Southern Utah fieldhouse and to which square dancers from the entire area are invited. Much interest in-terest has already been shown in the big Soiree and groups of dancers from many communities communi-ties have indicated that they will be present. Callers for the affair will include in-clude Alpine Chadburn of St. George, Newel Day of Fillmore, Monte Marshall and Tommy Thomas of Salt Lake City, Burton Bur-ton Bank of Kanab, Bill Adams of Murray, and Dan Crawford, Marvin Jones, Del Rich and Mel-vin Mel-vin Condie of Cedar City. The Sagebrush Soiree will not only furnish a very pleasant eve-nine eve-nine for the dancers, but also for spectators who enjoy watching the dancers perform. The field-house field-house affords an excellent floor with plenty of room for the dancers, and also plenty of seats in the balcony affording an excellent ex-cellent view of the whole floor. |
