Show Fighting Ends, But Draft Calls Continue The war in Korea is over, or at least at a standstill, but it has made no difference in the drafting draft-ing of men insofar as Iron County Coun-ty is concerned, because the local Selective Service Board has received re-ceived a call for men in September Septem-ber equivalent to the call in August. Aug-ust. Four men must report for induction on Sept. 9 and five must reported for pre-induction examination. One man, Robert S. Munson, 18. has volunteered for induction induc-tion according to E. B. Dalley. clerk of the board, and will head the list of men to renort in Sen- tember. Reporting with hii will probably be Blaine C. Tueller of Logan, a former Cedar City resident. Tueller, who is 23 years of age, recently returned from an L D S mission. Completing the quota will probably be Boyd Sherratt, 21, of Cedar City, and Garth Gilger, who will be 21 in October, of Parowan. Both Sherratt Sher-ratt and Gilger had received orders or-ders to report in August but two men volunteered for induction delaying the induction of these two. The five men who will report for pre-induction examinations have not yet been selected, Mr. Dalley states. |
