Show CLUB NOTES Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Milton Sevy entertained ttie members of her club at a bridge luncheon at her homo Monday evening. Mrs. Glado Stephenson was present as a special spe-cial guest. Score prizes were won by Mrs. Robert Gardner and Mrs. j Stephenson. Members of the Thursday club were the guests of Mrs. R. C. Morris for luncheon last week followed with an evening of bridge. Mrs. Arthur Higbee was a special guest for the evening. , Mrs. Stanley Bryan. Mrs. Higbee and Mrs. Wayne Jackson won high score honors. , Tuesday evening Mrs. Hugh j Cheever entertained eight members mem-bers of her bridge club at her home. Mrs. Carl Hazel, Miss Ethel Eth-el Smith and Mrs. Arnold Arrow-smith Arrow-smith received score awards. Mrs. Ralph Lamoreaux was hostess Wednesday evening at her home to 12 guests for an evening eve-ning of bridge. A special guest was Mrs. Merrill Kunz. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Dee Cowan Cow-an and Mrs. LaVitta Riddle. Wednesday evening Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Wood entertained the ladies of her club at a pinochle party and luncheon. The ladies present were Mrs. Kenneth Gower, Mrs. Karlyn Nelson, Mrs. Miles Waters, Wat-ers, Mrs. Melvin Baldwin, Mrs. LaVar Hirschi, Mrs. Keith Cripps, Mrs. Gam Hhsthi, Mrs. Bud Chamberlain. Mrs. Carlos Black, Mrs. Jack Thuet, Mrs. Charles Blackburn and Mrs. Hal Stout. The prize for the evening was awarded to Mrs. Cripps. The annual Robert Morris Picnic Pic-nic of the Order of Eastern Star was held Sunday at Parowan canyon for members and their families. Howard Mace was chairman of the day's activities, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Har-land Har-land Durand, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bunnell and Mr and Mrs. Earl Bunn. The Twinkler's club will hold its social August 21 at the Masonic Ma-sonic Temple. Lauies of the O. E. S. are cordially invited. Members of the Summer Reading Read-ing club were the guests of Mrs. Florence Higbee Friday afternoon after-noon at her home. Mrs. Higbee was assisted by Mrs. Rose Anderson An-derson as co-nstess. Mrs. Lona Watson reviewed her year's activities ac-tivities as state president of the American Legion Auxiliary. Luncheon was served following the program to 19 members and four guests. The special guests included Mrs. Lillian Lunt, Mrs. Zina Bryant, Mrs. Ruth Seeg-miller Seeg-miller and Mr3. Abbie Riddle. |
