Show Committee Help Credited for Advertising Signs Arnold Anderson, president of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, in commenting on the new advertising signs that have been installed on the north and south approaches to Cedar City, praised the committee in charge of the program and the cooperation coopera-tion received by the Chamber from other civic groups of the community. Mr. Anderson pointed out that Ray Knell, who started the program pro-gram for the installation of the signs early in 1952, requested at the beginning of 1953 that he be retained as chairman of the committee com-mittee in order that he might complete the project. "Mr. Knell has done an outstanding job on this project," Mr. Anderson stated. stat-ed. The project has been completed com-pleted this year by a committee headed by Mr. Knell, with Mrs. Alta Johnson and Richard Morris Mor-ris assisting. The efforts of the committee together with the wholehearted cooperation of the other groups of the city made it possible to complete the project, Mr. Anderson Ander-son stated. "Without the help of the civic clubs of the city," the chamber president said, "it would have been impossible to undertake and complete this project." |
