Show College Band Makes Good Will Tour to Three Communities The College of Southern Utah band, directed by A. B. Larson, was enthusiastically received in three communities last week on a day-long good will tour. The band appeared in a 9 a. m. concert at Circleville, then journeyed jour-neyed to Marysvale to play another an-other concert at 11 a. m. On the return home the group stopped at Panguitch at 2 p. m. to play its third concert. In addition to the numbers by the band, Kristine Corry played a clarinet solo, Alan Seegmiller a piano solo, while Gam Hirschi and Layne Merryweather appeared ap-peared in a saxophone duet, and Robert Frame and Richard Hey-wood Hey-wood played a trumpet duet. The band was accompanied by A. W. Stephenson, who acted as master of ceremonies at the concerts, con-certs, and Dr. Daryl Chase, college col-lege director, who met with faculty fac-ulty members, students and tcwrf.people in the various communities. |
