Show John P. Lamb Gets , Promotion At Brief Ceremonies John P. Lamb, former Cedar City and St. George resident, who since his return from service in I Korea has been an assistant pro-fesor pro-fesor of military science and tactics at the University of Utah, has been promoted to the rank of major. He received his promotion promo-tion at brief ceremonies at Fort Douglas Tuesday. Prior to his University of Utah assignment, Lamb, holding the rank of captain, served with the 213th Field Artillery Battalion, Utah National Guard unit, in Korea. Ko-rea. He also saw considerable ac-! tion in Africa, Sicily and Europe during World War II, during which time he distinguished himself him-self as a very capable military strategist. Major Lamb resides with his wife, Pamela, and four children at 758 11th Avenue in Salt Lake City. |
