The final outcome was an 18 point spread for the Cedarites with a score of 43 to 25. In the initial quarter of the game the Redmen pounded in 17 points as compared to six for the Wolves of Enterprise and although al-though the second and third quarters were about even from the scoring end, Enterprise never threatened. Coach Ray Englestead allowed every man on the bench to see action and in the second quarter quar-ter of play the Redmen scored only six points compared to seven se-ven for Enterprise for a half-time half-time score of 23 to 13. With the Redmen remaining passe in the third quarter and both teams scoring seven each the 10 point spread remained with the score at 20 to 30. The fourth and final quarter of the game the Redmen turned on the steam again, scoring 12 points while holding Enterprise to five to account for the wide margin of victory for the Redmen. In other games of the week- end in the Dixie division of Re- gion Six, the Kanab Cowboys ' came through with a mild upset over Valley High at Orderville, 61 to 49 to put that team in fourth place in the league with a two win and two loss .500 average 1 This week-end will tell the tale for the Cedar Redmen as they j travel to Hurricane to tangle with the Tigers in the number one game of the week. ' Cedar high took a one point J loss from Dixie early in the sea-son sea-son and Dixie in turn lost by a wide margin to Hurricane last week on the St. George floor. With the advantage of their home floor and the previous league scores It seems that Hurricane Hur-ricane will be rated as the favorite. fav-orite. However, Coach Engle-stead's Engle-stead's Redmen cannot be counted count-ed out of the picture by any means. With a lot of fight, a fast crew and with a little luck from the field the Redmen may come up with a victory to throw the league Into a three-way tie between be-tween Dixie, Cedar and Hurricane. Hurri-cane. If Hurricane should win Cedar will undoubtedly finish among the top three and with any luck at all will at least be an entrant to the Regional playoff to be held at the home of the second place winner of the Dixie division. divi-sion. Dixie travels to Kanab this week end in what might become an upset with the Cowboys at quite an advantage in the small gymnasium. Enterprise entertains enter-tains Valley Friday evening in the third game of the week and the bars will be down with both teams, neither with a league victory to its credit, fighting to get out of the cellar.
