DIXON Announcement has been made this week by the Cedar City Live-stock Live-stock Association that Henry A. Dixon, president of the Utah State Agricultural college, will be the featured speaker at the annual an-nual banquet of the organization to be held at Hotel El Escalante Friday, Feb. 12. Darrell Matthews, local presi-dent, presi-dent, revealed that a day-long session for livestock and sheep men of the area would be held with panel discussions and business busi-ness sessions during the afternoon. after-noon. Highlight of the annual affair, however, will be the banquet ban-quet session during the evening, which will commence at 7:30 p. m. The afternoon sessions will feature discussions on predatory animal control, the present wool situation, lambing sheep management, man-agement, plus the annual report of the association, by the secretary, secre-tary, Rulon Wood. Speakers for the specialized sessions will include O. W. Morris, Mor-ris, head of predatory animal control of the state office of the U. S. Wildlife Service; James A. Hoper, secretary of the Utah Wool Growers Association, and an active ac-tive member of the National Livestock and Meat Control Board, plus a panel discussion of lambing practices to include local sheepmen in an active discussion dis-cussion of present practices. President Dixon of the U S A C will adress the group at the banquet ban-quet as the feature attraction of the annual affair, and Mr. Matthews Mat-thews pointed out that all interested inter-ested citizens of the area are urged to attend and support the . association. It is revealed that the group has scheduled a lamb dinner for the banquet, an add- . ed incentive for participation, Mr. Mathews pointed out.
