Show Bill Jones of The New York Colored Clowns 1 JL" rii -vHr " ' TTff it j ; Only 6 feet 9 inches tall and tipping the scales at 219 pounds is Bill Mck "Big Boy" Jones of the New York Colored Col-ored Clowns who will appear in Cedar City against the Southern Utah All-Stars, Saturday, Feb. 6 at the College of Southern Utah Fieldhouse. While playing in his three years of high school and college Jones averaged 23 points per game. When his college team was runner-up to the CIAA championship in 1951 he was chosen to the all-tournament all-tournament team and his game average for the tourney was 28 points. Jones has a big pair of hands and can really real-ly handle the leather with a great deal of skill. Jones should give such players as Ray Lindquist, Bud Fullmer and Don Marshall a sporting good time at the game Sa-urday Sa-urday evening. |
