Show Cedar Cub Scout Pack Undergoes Re-registration Last Thursday evening at the ballroom of Hotel El Escalante plans and organization for the re-registration of the Cub Scout pack in Cedar City were completed. com-pleted. At the meeting, Alex Angelo was reinstated as chairman of the committee with York Jones as institutional representative of the sponsoring Kiwanis Club. Other members include Carlos Taylor and Harry C. Lunt with two more committeemen to be appointed. At the meeting which was attended at-tended by many cub scouts and interested parents, 25 cubs were re-registered and arrangements for approximately 35 more were made. Den mothers that were registered regis-tered for thii year include Mrs. Ralph Jones, Mrs. Harry C. Lunt, Mrs. Frank Sutherlund, Mrs. Lois McConnell and Mrs. Gordon Jones. Three or four den mothers will probably be assigned in the future. Reuben Winterrose was reappointed reap-pointed as cub master for the year and Howard Stokes was named as assistant cub master. During the evening several of the dens presented skits for the entertainment of the group in what was termed a most successful success-ful meeting by those in charge. Arrangements are presently under way for an evening of entertainment en-tertainment for the group by the sponsoring crganlzation on the last Thursday of the month. At this meeting a dinner will be served in an effort to get the program off to a good start thi3 year. Pack meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month, throughout the year. |
