Show Felon looking for family Dear Editor I am writing to you because I was born in Bountiful. My parents moved mov-ed away when I was three years old. A couple of months after we moved away, my mother and father were killed in an automobile accident, and I was placed in a foster home until I reached the age of 1 8. I am now in the Alabama Prison System. I have been here since 1983 almost seven years. I go up for parole next year in October. Now in order for me to be able to make parole, I need a home and job plan, and since I know of no family that I might have to help me, my chances of getting out are very slim. I believe that some of my family are still living in or around this great city. And if there's anyway possible that you can find the kindness kind-ness in your heart to print this letter. I feel that there is a chance that some of my mother or father's family fami-ly or someone that might know them will write to me. I have no one to write to, or no one to write to me. If there is anyone out there that doesn't know my family or me, that would like to help or share a smile from time to time, I'd be happy to answer any and all letters. I would like to thank you for any help that you might give me in this matter. P.S. Mother and father's names are Grace and Paul Davis. My name and address is Fred Davis 110495, West Jefferson 3-57, 100 Warrior Lane, Bessemer, Alabama 35023. Fred Davis |
