Show Halterman honored at retirement luncheon Capt. Ken Halterman, of the Utah Department of Corrections, was honored last week at a retirement luncheon that was attended by an overflow crowd of law enforcement officers from across the Wasatch Front. Speakers included county, state and federal officers. Capt. Halterman was presented with a retirement plaque with his badge on it, by Chief Lew Jolley. He was also presented with a plaque by Capt. Roger Harris of the Division Divi-sion of Investigations, Utah Department of Public Safety which commended him for his commitment commit-ment and dedication to the Law Enforcement En-forcement Community of Utah. He is retiring after 23 years in public service to the people of Utah. During his career he has worked in all phases of police work. He has been the Utah Peace Officer of the year and was nominated as one of the top ten officers in the nation. Capt. Halterman is retiring to accept ac-cept a position in private industry. |
