Show Paw Computers unique company By EDEN BODILY A computer should be more than a typewriter with a screen on top. To help people make their computers com-puters all they can be, Robert Pert and Dale Williams started Paw Computers. They offer software literacy lit-eracy classes on all levels for both IBM and Macintosh, and can tailor classes beyond their usual offerings to meet unique needs. "Companies come to us with specialized software," Pert said. "We can mold them a class not usually offered to help them get the system, and the employees, started. They also can provide specialized specializ-ed classes for children, though they usually work with children of at least junior high age. Pett emphasized that "we try to fit into anybody's schedule... and can teach basically anything anyone might need." They're open six days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with seven teachers and 12 computer terminals. They try to keep classes smallusually two to five students "to make sure we can give personalized per-sonalized attention," Pett said. Classes meet once a week for three weeks, for about two hours each session. Costs are $145 per class or $50 for a single session. Classes meet at the Paw offices at 845 S. Main in Bountiful.
