Show New Harmony- By MARVAD. PRINCE Record Correspondent Visiting over the weekend to spend Easter, with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darce Prince, were their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernile Prince of Kamas, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald of Las Vegas, NV., spent the weekend here visiting friends and working on their home. Mrs. Estella Brown spent the day in Las Vegas recently visiting her sister Idona and to keep a Dr. appointment. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Prince and sons spent a few days in Salt Lake visiting their parents Mr. and Mrs. Dick Densley. Mrs. Leah Beatty is spending a week in Parowan t to help to care for her granddaughters, daughters of Frank and Ellen Beatty. The granddaughters spent a week here with their grandmother while their parents work. Mrs. Leann Lundgren and her mother, Mrs. Val Leavitt traveled to parts of Mexico for a few days visiting their brother and son. Visiting recently with her aunt LaVerna F. Englestead was Alenna Schmitz of Enterprise, Utah, a daughter of La Verna's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Taylor who also visited here recently. Robert Goodwin who is attending school for 6 weeks in California spent the weedend here with his family. Fred Melville was notified this past week of his appointment as the new postmaster. Fred will assume his new duties about May 1. We wish Fred the best of luck. Visiting with their i grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince, Sun- day, were Cindy, Gaylen and Doaaie Hint of St , George. ' Mrs. Eitell., Browm received word Hurt her; brother-in-law - Tom Foremaster of St. George was entering the hospital in Salt lake for treatment and tests. Tom: was thrown from a horse some time ago and has not recovered from his injuries received in this accident. We wish a quick recovery for Tom from his friends in New Harmony. He is the husband of Annetta Hammond and a fanner resident here. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hall of Cedar City spent Saturday here working on their place. Mr! and Mrs. terry Slade and family of Provo spent the weekend here with their sister and family, Paul and Dorothy Beatty. The parents of our four missionaries; Elders Joey Comp, Jay and Jeff Fenn a and Coury Beatty report that their son's are all well, and enjoying their mission very much. The proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Comp, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Fenn and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beatty. Elwin Prince and a friend, Shannon Johnson of the BYU, spent Saturday here visiting Elwin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince. Mrs. LaJuana Parker and family visited in Hurricane with her mother and family Saturday. Gary Prince and fiance, Anita Farley attending the Evans Hairstyling School in Cedar City, attended the Sacrament meeting in Caliente, NV, Sunday. Elder Dan Cox reported on his mission. Gary and Elder Cox both served in the Houston Texas Mission. |
