Show Ten-Krun Saturday Runners of all ages are invited to participate in Southern Utah State College's third annual "Tert K Road Run," a " citizen's run which will be held April 25 in conjunction con-junction with Wild West Week activities. Participants will meet at Milt's Stage Stop, east of Cedar City on U-14, then run the 10 kilometers or 6.1 miles to SUSC's Thunderbird Stadium.. Everyone who finishes the course will be given a Thunderbird t-shirt and a certificate of completion. the run will start promptly at 8 a.m. runners are encouraged to be at the starting point well in advance according ac-cording to event co-chairmen co-chairmen Jim Saltas, Magna, and Andre Turner, Las Vegas. Sponsored by the SUSC Student Activity Board, the run has been established around the "everyone's a winner" theme. "The annual event Is a citizen's run, not a race," Saltas said. "The objective is for participants to have fun, with emphasis placed on fitness, not competition." Transportation will be available from the Student Center to Milt's on the day of the run. Vans will leave campus shortly after 7 a.m. A $2.50 registration fee will be charged all participants. The fee can be paid and additional information obtained at the SUSC Student Center. "Out-of-town participants par-ticipants can register at the start of the run, but for, convenience sake, students and local residents should register earlier," Turner said. My, what a view!
