Show Middle School science classes study nutrition compared with those purchased in last foods establishments; and naturally extracted vitamins, compared with other vitamins. Students have made comparisons of costs of different products and also have compared the food value. The parents report that students have become more aware of costs of products and have made sound suggestions at the grocery store as food was purchased. Mr. Duane Lamoreaux and Mr. Gary Mackelprang are the science teachers providing these programs at the Cedar Middle School. Some interesting changes in students' thinking is happening in the Cedar Middle School science classes. Mrs. Nelda Fiack is one of several people who have helped students make some choices concerning nutrition. Students have had the opportunity to hear several diverse points of view concerning health and nutrition.
