Long placed first in the calf roping event Friday. Race meet set for Saturday The annual Pioneer Day "Family" Road Races will be held in Vernal, Saturday at 7 a.m. Registration will be held near Uintah High School from 6:30 a.m to 7 a.m. 5V2 and two mile races will be run . Trophies will be given to the three winning families and medals will be presented to members of the winning family and age group winners. Age group clashes are: male and female, 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50 and over.
