Show ;wvo '. ;HTf isW t O T 1 FLAGTWIRLERS traveling to Utah State University for clinic were (Row 1) Christy Cook and Aleisha Batty, (Row 2) Karine Wall and r Flagtwirlers :.t compete at USU t The Uintah High Flagtwirlers recent- ly returned from clinic at Utah State University carrying awards with a total s of 91 points and many memories. The girls received a superior trophy, second place in competition, a spirit - award, 22 superior ribbons, seven ex- rellent ribbons, one outstanding ribbon, and ten super strutter ribbons. These were awarded for passing off routines taught by world class flag and baton twirlers. Placing in the semi-final drill-down were Richelle Mecham, first, and " Christy Cook, second. Receiving Super Sensational ribbons were Aleisha Bat-'; Bat-'; ty. Wendy Winn and Kathleen Huber. Advisor Rose Mary Bigelow stated J that she is very proud of the squad this f year. With nine new flagtwirlers, she , feels they have done an excellent job. The flagtwirlers will be marching in the 24th of July parade. Flagtwirlers for the 19S2-83 school year are Kathleen Huber, president; Christy Cook, vice-president; Richelle Mecham, secretary; Wendy Winn, historian; Aleisha Batty, Karine Wall, Kellie Colton, Lisa Swain, Stacey I Baumer and Shelly Sprouse.
