Show Ten Canadian Air Force youths visit Vernal Ten youth members of the Royal Canadian Air Force will be visiting Vernal Ver-nal July 28 to August 2. The Vernal Civil Air Patrol Squadron was chosen by the national headquarters head-quarters of the United States Air Force Auxiliary to host the cadets. The group will be composed of five boys and five girls about eighteen years old. Their escort, J. F. Hientz, will accompany ac-company them while visiting the Uintah Uin-tah Basin. Activities are being planned to acquaint the cadets with the Dinosaur Monument and the Museum of Natural History. The first evening in Vernal will be spent at Twin Cinema. Swimming at the pool and camping near Flaming Gorge are planned for the second day. A river trip from the Gorge to Little Hole and a barbeque at the home of Vernal Civil Air Patrol commander, Captain Richard Grinstead, will conclude con-clude the cadets' activities. The Canadian cadets will be housed during their stay at the homes of the Civil Air Patrol members. - . T |
