Second row: Court Ander- The largest group of Boy Scouts from Vernal to ever attend a National Boy Scout Jamboree left here Thursday of last week to spend seven days camping and seven days touring scenic and historic places around Washington, D. C. Thirty-six Scouts and four leaders rode a bus to Salt Lake City and then flew to Washington, D. C, arriving the same day to begin a tour of the sights before the 1981 Jamboree started Monday. Over 30.000 Scouts and leaders will camp out for seven days at Ft. A. P. Hill, Va. for the 10th National Scout Jamboree held in the United States. The Scouts will also return to SLC by plane. The national jamboree is held every four years to reinforce the ideals of Scouting and provide activity opportunities. op-portunities.
