Police report minor accidents Two juveniles were cited in a motorcycle accident Tuesday at 200 East 200 North. According to Officer John Laursen, Vernal City Police, the vehicle attempted at-tempted to turn into a private driveway. A motorcycle which was attempting to pass the vehicle ran into the car. No serious injuries were reported. The juvenile riding the motorcycle was cited with no motorcycle motor-cycle license and speeding, and the juvenile driving the car was cited with no driver's license and failure to yield. In a Monday accident a 5-year-old suffered minor abrasions when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Trudy Chupp, 75, of Vernal. Mrs. Chupp was attempting a right hand turn onto Main Street when she struck the youth while he was riding a bike north across Main Street on a red light. No citations were issued in the accident. Johnie L. Winn of Vernal was released from the LDS Hospital last Friday after being in critical condition following a motorcycle accident two weeks ago at 200 West Main. David Charles Gruben, 20, of Uma, Colorado, who was the driver of the motorcycle, is still in critical condition at LDS Hospital. Nearly S10.000 in damages were reported yi another accident at 500 South and east U.S. 40 Thursday of last week. A 1981 Chevrolet truck and an oil field truck owned by NOWSCO collided at the intersection. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries to the left arm. No citations were issued.
