Show Pickup trash Dear Editor: As a member of one of the organizations that volunteered their time and money so our children could have play equipment at the park, I was delighted at how nice it turned out. However, when I took my two preschool age children Sunday to enjoy the new addition to the park, I was disgusted to see the trash and garbage that was left in the sand from the July 24th celebration. While my children played I spent my time picking up towels, shoes, socks, cans, paper cups, etc.. that thoughtless people left behind. If we are all to enjoy the playground for years to come, we must all take the time and consideration to either toss our trash in proper containers, con-tainers, or take it home with us. This goes for the park and ball park as well. In the future, our organization will consider more carefully contributing our time and money for city projects. Concerned citizens, MRS.
