Show it B: . w' TWO ARTISTS paint in the heat during the In-termountain In-termountain Society of Artists show held in Ver- The Intermountain Society of Artists, ISA, held a show in Vernal July 21-25. The show was sponsored by the Uintah County Library. Art work from oils to water colors were exhibited along with artists demonstrating their abilities. Several members were displaying their work. Among them was Ina Linton, coordinator of the show, from Salt Lake City. She paints flowers in oils with a knife. Another artist showing his work was Lee Bosh, a high school teacher at Manti and Gunnison. He uses acrylics to paint landscapes. Portraits done in pastels were drawn by Geana. The ISA is a chartered non-profit organization with the state of Utah and nal July 21-25. Many artists from Utah and other states displayed and sold their work. ISA show held in Vernal is dedicated to the encouragement and improvement of all artists involved in painting or sculpting. It is one of the few organizations open for membership to all such artists ranging from amateur to professional and in all stages of development. Members of the ISA are from all over Utah and other states. There are 200 members in the organization. ISA shows give all artists the valuable opportunity of showing their works, comparing to others and obtaining ob-taining the views of the public. Shows are held all over the state. The next show will be in the Crossroads Mall this week. |
