Show LADIES LITERARY CLUB HEARS FINE PAPER Mrs. Paul Walker gave an interesting inter-esting paper on India at the regular regu-lar meeting of the Ladies Literary Liter-ary club last Thursday evening when they were entertained at the home of Mrs. Berton Groesbeck. In connection with her paper, Mrs. Walker reviewed the book, I "My India," written by a native j of that country. She told of the j dire need of the country for industrial indus-trial development, for an educational educa-tional system, and for the organization organi-zation of political and religious groups. Miss Janet Groesbeck gave two lovely piano numbers and following follow-ing the program, Mrs. Oliver Dal-ton, Dal-ton, president, conducted a short business meeting. The hostess served a nicely arranged ar-ranged lunch preceding the program. pro-gram. The next meeting was announced for Thursday, March 13, at the' home of Mrs. W. H. Brown. |
