Show 'TWO SERIOUSLY INJURED AS CAR OVERTURNS Garry Averett, 20, and Don Perry, 20, both of Springville, were recovering at their homes Saturday -from injuries suffered early the same day when their car went out of control on U. S. 91, smashed through a wire fence, rolled 282 feet and came to rest in a ditch. The accident occurred two miles south of Springville at 3 a. m. Saturday. Averett, driver of the machine, was thrown out on the first roll and suffered serious and extensive face lacerations, according to State Highway Patrolman Bert Nielson, who, with Ted Thorn, Springville marshal, investigated. Perry remained in the car and suffered suf-fered shock and back injuries of yet undetermined seriousness. The automobile was demolished, officers said. The youths were taken to Dr. George Anderson of Springville for treatment and then to their homes. |
