Show FORMING UNIT OF AMERICAN LEGION Special, to The Tribune. ROCKLAND. Idaho, July 31. The Roland Ro-land 15 vans chapter of the American legion le-gion of American Falls, held its first meeting in the K. P. hall this evening. Many soldiers, sailors and marines were present. There are fifteen charter members, mem-bers, and T. C. Sparks is acting secretary secre-tary of the organization. American Falls was the third district in the state to receive re-ceive a charter. The scroll and charter arrived last week. The following men, representing practically prac-tically every organization in Power county, coun-ty, haw pledged themselves to work for a country -wide interest: Pr. C. F. Schiltz, M. M. Mvers, Bruce Lanipson, F. A. Quick. Carl Rudeen, R. W. Peterson. Peter-son. V. J. Hanson and K. E. Torrance. To the following lias been given the task of procuring for the farmers of I'ower county the necessary feed and seed with which to do the fall seeding arid plowing: O. R. Baum, Charles Allen, Jim Fisher, E. E. Taring. O. V Pollard, T. C. Sparks, C. Y. Wilson, John Allen, U Tj. Evans, R. B. Greenwood, Oscar "Wowcll, F. A. Zick, John Voit, Chester Green, George Butler and Bruce Lampson. -! |
