Show POULTRY EXPERT ON DEMONSTRATION TOUR Special to The Tribune. LOGAN, July 31. Professor Byron Alder, poultryman for the experiment station sta-tion of thf Utah Agricultural college, has just left for Sanpete and Sexier counties, where he will devoto several j days to demonstrations on various phaHeM of poultry work. Professor Alder states thnt this section of the state Is now one of the foremost poultry-producing sections of Utah. A (treat many of the flocks there are the single-comb White Leghorns, which have been developed from stock Introduced there several years ago front the high egar-producing strains of the Utah export ex-port nifnt station. Professor Alder says that the poultry-men poultry-men of this section recognize the importance impor-tance of good stock, and as a result are securing from the station a number of pure -bred cockerels every year for their breeding work. j |
