Show MAYO ORDERED TO KENTUCKY HOSPITAL Major H. N. Mayo, post surgeon at Fort Douglas and in command of tho post hospital, received orders yesterday yester-day directing him to report at the base hospital, Camp Zachary Taylor. Louisville, Louis-ville, Ky., for duty as soon as possible. Major Mayo is making preparations to leave Fort Douglas within the next few days for the new camp. Just what duties he will be assigned to at Camp Taylor are unknown to the doctor, but he is in hopes that the move means that he is beginning a trip that will lead to the battle front in France in the near future. Departure of the major will leave Captain F. W. Taylor, M. K. C, in command com-mand of the post hospital at Fort Douglas Doug-las temporarily, though it is expected that a ni". iical officer of high rank will arrive here soon to take charge of the reconstruction hospital work and the conversion of the post into a general reconstruction hospital for the western department, |
